Author Fee

 

The International Journal of Peace, Governance and Social Change (IJPGSC) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal committed to making high-quality scholarly research freely accessible to readers worldwide. To support the editorial process, peer review management, production, online hosting, and long-term preservation of published articles, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance for publication.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 100 for each manuscript that is accepted for publication. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has successfully completed the peer review process and has received formal acceptance from the Editorial Office. Submission of a manuscript to the journal is free of charge, and no payment is required during the initial submission or peer review stages.

The APC covers the costs associated with editorial management, double-blind peer review administration, copyediting, proofreading, typesetting, online publication, metadata registration, website maintenance, and long-term digital archiving. Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions, which are based solely on the academic quality, originality, and significance of the submitted work.

No Submission Fee

The journal does not charge a manuscript submission fee. Authors may submit their manuscripts for editorial consideration without any upfront payment.

Payment Policy

Once a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive an invoice together with payment instructions. Authors are encouraged to complete payment promptly to avoid delays in the production and publication process. Publication of the accepted article will proceed only after confirmation of the APC payment.

Waivers and Discounts

At present, the journal does not offer automatic waivers or discounts for the Article Processing Charge. However, requests for fee waivers or reductions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for authors who can demonstrate genuine financial hardship. Such requests must be submitted to the Editorial Office before publication and will be evaluated at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher.

Refund Policy

The Article Processing Charge is non-refundable once the production process has commenced. If a manuscript is withdrawn by the author after acceptance and after production activities such as copyediting or typesetting have begun, the journal reserves the right to retain all or part of the APC to cover the costs already incurred.
