The Journal of Strategic Management and Innovation (JSMI) is committed to maintaining a transparent and affordable publication process while ensuring high editorial and publishing standards.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

An Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 100 is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following the successful completion of the editorial assessment and double-blind peer review process.

What the Author Fee Covers

No Submission Fee

JSMI does not charge a manuscript submission fee. Authors may submit their manuscripts for editorial screening and peer review free of charge.

Payment Policy

  • The APC is USD 100 per accepted manuscript.
  • Payment instructions will be provided only after the manuscript has been formally accepted.
  • Payment of the APC does not influence editorial decisions or guarantee publication.
  • Articles are published only after the APC has been received and confirmed, unless a fee waiver or alternative arrangement has been approved by the Editorial Office.

Refund Policy

Once the publication process has commenced following acceptance, the APC is generally non-refundable, except where the journal determines that a refund is appropriate due to exceptional circumstances.

Fee Waivers and Discounts

JSMI may consider requests for partial or full fee waivers in exceptional cases, such as demonstrated financial hardship or other circumstances approved by the Editorial Board. Requests should be submitted to the Editorial Office before payment.

All publication fees are charged in United States Dollars (USD).
